Installing rear seat cover with cardboard strips on rear seat frame manufactured up to 8/79

• ‒ → Fit cover.
• ‒ Mark cardboard strips in the area of the struts -1- and the rail -2- and cut free.

Note:

The cuts -arrow 1/2- must not extend further than seam -7- which must not be damaged.

• ‒ Make cuts in PVC part of cover -arrow 3- and in fabric part -arrow 4-.
• ‒ Cut free mounting points -5- for the backrest using a hollow punch (10 mm dia).

• →     1 -    Frame
•     2 -    Cardboard strip
•     3 -    Cover
•     4 -    Foam seat core

• ‒ Pull cover tight so that it is free of folds, turn in cardboard strip and secure between foam seat core and frame.
• ‒ Screw on sliding blocks -6- on left and right.

The cover is installed in the same way apart from the cutting of the cardboard strip.
