This is only necessary if gearshift jams or is spongy.

Modified locating and mounting of the selector shaft in the gearbox

• ‒ Disconnect linkage from selector shaft lever.
• ‒ Place gearbox in neutral.
• ‒ → Loosen locknut -2- and turn retaining screw -1- in until locking clip -4- lifts off retaining screw.
• ‒ Turn retaining screw back again until clip just makes contact.
• ‒ Tighten locknut
• ‒ Check: The clip should lift as soon as shaft -3- is turned slightly.
