Removing and installing cylinder head
Checking compression pressure

◆ Engine oil temperature at least 30 °C

◆ Throttle valve fully open

◆ Plug pulled off Hall sender (distributor). In the case of engines with no Hall sender at distributor, H.T. wire pulled off ignition coil and earthed with auxiliary lead.

‒ Check compression pressure with compression tester V.A.G 1381.
Note:
Using compression tester => refer to operating instructions

‒ Operate starter until tester shows no further increase in pressure.
