Removing and installing clamping springs



‒ → Press on side of exhaust pipe and spread clamping springs such that short clamping wedges can be fully inserted. It may be necessary to take the exhaust system out of its mounts. ‒ Press front exhaust pipe in direction of clamping spring to be removed. The clamping spring must now be firmly seated on the wedge. At the same time, take clamping spring out of its seat. ‒ Installation is performed in the reverse order. As a final step, a check is to be made on the correct positioning of the clamping springs in the recesses.
