• ‒ → Use lateral pressure on the exhaust pipe to expand clips until short wedges can be fully inserted. Examples, expanding clips:
• ‒ Dual pipe systems. Place service lever -A- between the two pipes and press lever in appropriate direction.
• ‒ Single pipe systems - Grip forward section of exhaust pipe with a pipe wrench and push it sideways in appropriate direction.

It may be necessary to remove pipe from its mounting for this operation.

• ‒ Press forward section of pipe in direction of clip to be removed. The clip should now sit firmly on expansion wedge. Simultaneously remove clip.
• ‒ For installation follow steps in reverse order. As a final step ensure that clips are properly seated in recesses.
