Checking:

• ‒ Operate starter or remote control V.A.G 1348/3A for approx. 10 seconds.

• ‒ → Lift adjusting lever via air flow meter plate. The lever must have the same resistance, over the full range of movement.
• ‒ When moved downwards quickly there must be no resistance, otherwise renew air flow meter.

Note:

If the adjusting lever is difficult to move upwards but moves downwards easily, the control plunger is sticking and in the case a new fuel meting distributor must be installed.
