Teves calipers

Lateral run-out at friction surface 0.06 mm

• Disc
• ◆ Thickness: 20 mm
• ◆ Wear limit: 18 mm
• Caliper
• ◆ Pad thickness 10 mm
• ◆ Detach hose only to repair
• Brake pads
• ◆ Check thickness =>Fig. 1 and 2
• ◆ Eliminating squeaks
• ◆ Removing and installing => page 46-6
• ◆ Renew all pads at same time

Wheel bolt tightening torque: 110 Nm

Note:

Skim disc uniformly from both sides.

Watch wear limit.

Checking pad thickness

• ‒ Check thickness of outer pads through hole in wheel disc (using torch if necessary). If thickness (including backing plate) is less than 7 mm the pads are at the limit of wear and must be renewed.
