Note:

  • ◆ When fitting the rough-road version as service installation, the heavy-duty shock absorbers should also be fitted. (See Parts List.). Both the front and rear axles must be converted. The springs are listed in such a way that the softest version is at the top and the strongest at the bottom.
  • ◆ The Golf and Scirocco have different coil springs.
  • ◆ Golf and Scirocco: Progressive springs, different lengths.
  • ◆ Golf with 1.1 litre (except L model): Linear springs.
    When replacing a spring it is not necessary to change both springs.
