  • ‒ Press keys -0- and -2-; 02 enters the "Interrogate fault memory" function.

02 - Interrogate fault memory
  • ‒ Confirm entry with Q key.
 
→ The number of faults stored or "No fault recognised" will be displayed.
X Faults recognised!    
 
No fault recognised!     ⇒
  • ‒ Press ⇒key.
  • The stored faults are displayed and printed out one after the other.
  • ‒ Go to the Fault table on Page 01-33 with the fault information print-out and rectify fault.
  • As with "No fault recognised", the programme returns to the start position after pressing the ⇒key:

  • ‒ End output (Function 06) .
  • ‒ Switch off ignition and unplug diagnostic connectors.

Notes:

Work sequence if a fault has been detected:

1. Rectify fault using fault table, Page 01-114

2. Interrogate fault memory (Function 02)

3. Erase fault memory (Function 05)

4. End output (Function 06)

5. Perform test drive

6. Interrogate fault memory again

If the ABS lamp (K47) lights up without fault information in fault memory, check voltage supply first, electrical check => Page 01-49 , test step 1 ... 4.
