• ◆ T10005 Pliers

• ◆ V.A.G 1331 Torque wrench

Removing

• ‒ Turn clutch pedal switch 45° anti-clockwise and pull out of mounting.

• ‒ Removing over-centre spring .
• ‒ Separate clutch pedal from master cylinder => Page 30-14 and push operating rod towards engine compartment onto stop.
• ‒ → Remove nut -A-.
• ‒ Pull bolt out until the clutch pedal can be removed.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence, when doing this note the following:

• ‒ → The retainer -A- must be fitted to the master cylinder operating rod -B-.
• ‒ Press clutch pedal in direction of arrow to engage. Ensure correctly located.
• ‒ Install over-centre spring => page 30-5 .
• ‒ Place clutch pedal switch in mounting and turn 45° to right.
