• ◆ T10111 Assembly clip

Removing

• ‒ Remove driver's side lower cover.

=> General body repairs, interior; Repair group 70; Dash panel; Removing and installing dash panel

• ‒ → Fit assembly clip T10111, from the right, onto over-centre spring:
• ‒ Ensure that the assembly clip is correctly seated:

•      1 -     The rear part of assembly clip must be positioned on the cover-centre spring so that the claws fit over the web -1-.
•      2 -     Press clutch pedal lightly towards the bulkhead.
• Hook the lug -2- of the assembly clip into the cut-out of the over-centre spring.

• ‒ Now press the clutch pedal as far as possible towards the bulkhead until the over-centre spring can be removed downwards from mountings on bearing bracket and clutch pedal.
• ‒ Bring clutch pedal to rest position.
• ‒ → Turn over-centre spring together with assembly clip T10111 in direction of arrow -A- and take out downwards in direction of arrow -B-.

Installing

• ‒ Pull clutch pedal into passenger compartment.

• ‒ → Insert over-centre spring together with assembly clip T10111 upwards (direction of arrow -A-) into bearing bracket and then turn in direction of arrow -B-).

• ‒ → Insert over-centre spring into rear mounting first -arrow A-.
• ‒ Operate clutch pedal until the over-centre spring seats on the mounting lug -arrow B- of the clutch pedal.
• ‒ Take out retaining clamp whilst bringing clutch pedal to rest position.
• ‒ Remove driver's side lower cover.
