The mounting bracket may be bolted to the rear axle only when dimension -a- between the centre of wheel hub and lower edge of wheel housing, measured before starting the work, has been attained. |
Otherwise, the bush would be strained and its service life shortened. |

| Turn wheel hub until a wheel bolt hole is uppermost. |

| Attach support -T10149- with a wheel bolt. |

| Raise wheel bearing housing, using engine and gearbox jack, until dimension -a- is attained. |

| Do not raise or lower vehicle when engine and gearbox jack is under the vehicle. |

| Do not leave the engine and gearbox jack under the vehicle longer than required. |

| Bolt mounting bracket to rear axle with specified torque. |
Further installation is performed in reverse sequence. |
After installation, check position of steering wheel during road test. |
If the steering wheel is off centre, wheel alignment must be checked and adjusted. |
