| In Golf from Model Year 1998 and in Bora from Model Year 1999 the “GAMMA” radio unit is offered with “Digital Sound System” as an option. The “Digital Sound System” comprises the following components: |

| A specially adapted “GAMMA” radio (pay attention to the part number) or |

| Radio navigation system with multifunction display or radio navigation system with monochrome display. |

| Four special loudspeaker systems designed for “Digital Sound System” (two at front and two at rear). Each has a domed treble loudspeaker and a bass/mid-range tone loudspeaker. |

| An operating unit in the centre console below the radio unit (not with radio navigation system). |

| A four channel amplifier with 4 x 70 watt continuous performance and a frequency range of 30-20.000 Hz. |
