1 - Cover for auxiliary heating control unit -J364-.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
2 - Temperature sensor -G18-
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
3 - Overheating sensor -G189-

4 - Fuel shut-off valve -N109-
q   Only vehicles with a diesel engine.
5 - Combustion tube
  Note
Figure shows petrol version with fine filter in fuel line.
  Note
With the diesel version, a fuel pre-heating heater element -Z66- and a fuel shut-off valve -N109- are permanently installed on the combustion tube. The wires are connected to wires of glow plug with flame monitoring -Q8-.

7 - 7 Nm
q   Qty. 3
8 - Retaining spring
9 - 4 Nm
10 - Seal
q   Must be renewed after every opening.

q   Mark fitting position.

q   Mark fitting position.
16 - Retaining clip
17 - Glow plug with flame monitoring -Q8-
q   Ensure correct seating.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter is possible only with petrol version.
  Note
With the diesel version, a fuel pre-heating heater element -Z66- and a fuel shut-off valve -N109- are permanently installed on the combustion tube. The wires are connected to wires of glow plug with flame monitoring -Q8-. With this version, the entire combustion tube must be renewed if the glow plug with flame monitoring -Q8- is defective.
18 - Burner
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
19 - Combustion air blower -V6-
q   The combustion air blower -V6- and housing are one component and cannot be dismantled.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
20 - Auxiliary heater control unit -J364-
  Note
The auxiliary heater control unit -J364- and the combustion air blower -V6- with housing are one component and cannot be dismantled. The reason is the seal between the auxiliary heater control unit -J364- and the housing.
