Install adapter -2- on new Tail lamp -1- as shown.

-

Tighten mounting bolt -3- to specified tightening torque.

Install new Tail lamp.

Follow the same procedure as Tail light assembly in side panel, removing and installing.

NOTE:  On vehicles from November 2005, an adjustment element is installed which can be used to adjust the flush dimension to the bumper trim.

Removing: 

-

Remove Tail lamp assembly in side panel.

-

Press retaining tabs -arrow A- on adjusting element -1- together and press element -1- in - direction of -arrow B- out of body panel.

Installing: 

-

Press adjusting element -2- in -direction of arrow- into body panel -1- using an SW10 socket until element engages.
