Installing > < Removing and installing moulded headliner (saloon)

Passat (B3)

Removing
Removing
–  Remove trim from A-pillar, B-pillar, upper C-pillar and D-pillar.
–  Remove interior light.
   
–  Remove sun visors -2-. If vanity mirror is illuminated, also separate wiring connector in roof frame.
–  Unscrew mounting bracket -1-, turn 90 degrees and pull out of roof frame.

–  Pull off end strip -4- (secured with clips) downwards from roof frame.
–  Take out clips -5- from roof frame.
–  Wind down front passenger backrest and take out moulded headliner diagonally through rear right door aperture.
