  Note
t  The rear brakes are self-adjusting, so the handbrake does not require adjustment in normal operation. Adjustment is only necessary after renewing, handbrake cables, brake calipers and brake discs.
   
t  Remove hand grip and centre console to adjust the adjusting nuts -arrows- → Fig..

–  Handbrake lever in released position. Tighten adjusting nut until lever -arrow- lifts off brake caliper stop.
A - Up to vehicle identity No. 3A-S-990 000
B - From vehicle identity No. 3A-T-000 001
1 - Feeler gauge
–  A gap of max. 1.5 mm from stop -arrow- is permissible each side, gap should be the same on both sides.
–  Pull handbrake on 3 times and then release again.
–  Check that both wheels turn freely.
