1 - Cover plate
q   Lever out with a screwdriver.
q   Pressing in → Fig..
q   Installation position → Fig..
2 - Seal
3 - Self-locking hexagon nut, 30 Nm
q   Renew.
4 - Dished washer
5 - Upper rubber bush
6 - Gasket (foam)
q   Renew.
7 - Upper spring plate
q   Weld nuts must lie in cut-outs on spring seat.
q   Installation position to spring seat → Fig..
8 - Spring seat
q   Installation position → Fig. and → Fig..
9 - Spacer tube
10 - Lower rubber bush
11 - Stop buffer mounting
12 - Washer
13 - Bump stop
14 - Ring (aluminium)

Installation position of lower spring plate
1 - Lower spring plate
2 - Bush for eye of shock absorber
Install spring plate so that hole -a- aligns with bush -2- in eye of shock absorber. Otherwise tyre may contact spring plate -1- in extreme driving situations.

Upper spring plate and spring seat -arow A- each have a mark -arrow B-. These must point forwards otherwise shock absorber piston rod may be damaged.

Aligning suspension strut mounting to shock absorber eye
-A- Shock absorber eye axis
-B- Suspension strut mounting axis
Cover cap axis -C- offset 90° to shock absorber eye axis -A-.
