Illustrated here is the assembly overview of the wheel bearings for vehicles with drum brakes.

Wheel fitting for vehicles with disc brakes is the same.

All tightening torques and notes are therefore also valid for vehicles with disc brakes.

  • Wheel bolt, 110 Nm
  • Dust cap
    • ◆ Renew each time after removing
    • A perfect seal is only achieved using a new dust cap.
    • Only then is an optimum function and long service life guaranteed.

  • Self-locking 12-point nut, 175 Nm
    • ◆ Renew each time after removing
  • Cross-head screw
  • Brake drum
  • Wheel hub with wheel bearings

The wheel bearing and wheel hub are installed together in a housing.

This wheel bearing/hub unit is maintenance and adjustment free. Adjusting and servicing is not possible!
