Removal
Removal
–  Remove Poly-V belt → Chapter.
–  Remove indented belt → Chapter.
   
–  Remove crankshaft gear. To do so, lock gear with counter support 3415.
–  Drain engine oil.
–  Remove carter → Chapter.
–  Loosen front flange.
–  Remove front flange, if necessary, loosen hammering gently with a rubber hammer.
–  Eliminate seal residues that may be on engine block with a scraper.

–  Remove seal residues with on drilling machine with plastic brush (wear goggles).
–  Clean sealing surfaces. They must be free from oil and grease.
