Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque Wrench V.A.G 1332

^

Engine/transmission jack V.A.G 1383 A

Subframe with components, removing

Note: Be aware that if there is additional work where the drive shaft 6-point or 12-point bolt must be loosened, this must also occur with the vehicle
resting on its wheels. Remove the drive shaft 6-point or 12-point bolt.

Remove wheels.

-

Disconnect electrical connections between rear axle and body.

-

Remove bolt -arrow-.

-

Remove clip -1-.

Note: Do not disconnect the brake line.

-

Remove bracket -1- by pressing out rivet inner pin -arrow-.
