Drill diam. = 8 mm (5/16 in.)
NOTE:
Illustration shows tailgate open, viewed from rear.
Enlarge lock hole by 1 mm (see illus.) to make space for child safety latch.
Rustproof
Apply primer, P/N 1227362-8, followed by rustproofing compound.
Insert safety bracket from left-hand side of vehicle
Secure outer door handle
Use two new bolts, M6 x 20.
Carefully bend panel and position lock
