CONNECT THE NEW CABLE
Install the wire to clutch pedal.
Route the wire in the engine compartment and install the wire at the firewall.
Fit rubber pad on washer to the clutch cable.
Reinstall soundproof material in footwell.
NOTE:
The spring opening on the washer must be pointed down.
INSTALL THE WIRE TO CLUTCH FORK
Install the wire to the bell housing and clutch fork.
Install damper (P/N 1330433-2)
DO NOT fit the original cable weight.
ADJUST FREE PLAY
Depress the clutch pedal 3 times using full force. Check the play by pressing the release fork forwards. Free play = 1-3 mm (0.04-0.12 in).
