940 L4-2.3L SOHC VIN 88 B230F (1992)
- Depress the function button on the status display until the status diodes and the indication diode I is lit.
- Release the functions button.
- Step forward to an unused transmitter key code position I, II or III using the function button.
A position that is in use is indicated by the diode blinking; an unused position displays a steady light.
Programming a used position will delete the old code.
After selecting one of the three places, the remote control must send a coded signal. If this does not occur within ten seconds, the alarm will return to the
normal position and programming procedure of the transmitter code must be carried out again.
The alarm acknowledges an approved code by rapid blinking of the status diodes and indication diodes, followed by return to normal operating position.
