Pull both sections of link towards each other (see arrows in illustration), place together and secure in position with clip.
On new lock, link is sealed in service position. Seal should remain intact when link sections are secured with clip and is broken when key is turned for
first time.
New lock cylinders are supplied in normal position and must be turned to service position before link sections can be secured with clip.
Test operation of lock.
Install panel and cover for tail light.
