Modification of roof member to fit new design of headliner
A new design of headliner, which is attached at the rear by means of three clips, has been introduced in production models as a running change during
January '92. The earlier type of liner with two attachment clips at the rear will no longer be available as a replacement part.
When replacing the headliner, the rear roof member must be modified to install the center clip.
Note:
An additional clip must be ordered separate from the headliner.

Remove headliner as described in Service Manual.
Mark position of new center clip 300 mm (11-7/8") from center of outer attachment point and at same height.
