Sunroof / Moonroof Cable: Service and Repair
Replacing Cable Covers
Sunroof cable covers, replacement (frame removed)
Removal
Remove sunroof frame. See: Sunroof / Moonroof Frame/Service and Repair
Remove cover panel (2 screws).
Remove support section at crank housing mounting.
Pull out cables, removing outer covers at the same time.
Installation
Insert new cables in covers.
Position cable covers against rails.
Install crank housing support
Install cover panel.
Fit frame in base plate. See: Sunroof / Moonroof Frame/Service and Repair
