Compressor Clutch: Service and Repair
Clutch, Belt Pulley, Bearing, Electromagnet - Replacement
SD 510/SD 709/Sd 7H15 Compressors
Special Tool: 999 1801, 5085, 5137, 5142, 5596, 5597
Remove compressor.
Remove compressor shaft seal.
Mount compressor in vise.
Use protective pads to prevent damage to unit.
Remove clutch plate retaining nut.
Use counterhold 999 5596 (included in tool kit) and 19 mm jointed wrench (or ratchet with 19 mm socket).
Pull off clutch plate.
Use puller 999 5597 included in tool kit. Earlier puller 999 5304 may also be used.
Remove inner snap ring.
