Check that the sensor tip is not touching the EGR valve body. Mount the EGR valve on the engine and connect it electrically. Connect vacuum line to the
EGR valve.

Clear fault code from diagnostic memory.

WARRANTY STATEMENT:

Replacing the EGR valve and installing a new EGR temperature sensor must be claimed as follows:

Due to extreme ambient temperature at high altitude causing storage of fault code 24-1, claim under Basic New Car Limited Warranty on a one-time only
basis. Due to emissions-related failures, claim under the Emission Warranty. You must also install a new EGR temperature sensor (with welded washer)
if not previously installed.
