Cable Stop Adjustment
5. Attach stop to cable. Clamp stop 0.25-1.00 mm from end of cable tensioner. Use flat-nose or adjustable pliers.
Cable Full Throttle Adjustment
6. Press accelerator to floor. With throttle pulley seated against its stop, it should be possible to withdraw kickdown cable by about 2 mm more than
dimension shown in illustration.
NOTE: Never turn throttle pulley by hand when carrying out this check.
7. Check that cable is seated in throttle cam groove.
8. Remount oil sump and filler tube.

Ensure that sump and particle magnet(s) are well cleaned and that magnet(s) are positioned immediately under oil strainer.

Use new sump gasket.

Torque, oil sump: 4-5 Nm (3-3.5 ft.lb).

Torque, filler tube: 80-100 Nm (59-74 ft.lb).
9. Fill transmission with fluid. Adjust level. Refer to "Checking Fluid". See: Automatic Transmission Fluid/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests
and General Diagnostics
CAUTION: Use correct grade of fluid.
