From an icy roadway to overheated engine oil, Volvo's full range of accessory gauges will warn the driver of a multitude of potentially hazardous conditions. The gauges are designed to complement each Volvo interior, and they provide the same clear, concise read-out as the standard vehicle gauges.

FEATURES:

Tachometer for 240's

A MUST for cars with manual transmissions! Available in 80 mm or 52 mm for installation in either the main instrument cluster or in the side panel. Enables the driver to easily see RPM for proper gear shifting.

Oil Pressure Gauge

This 5-bar gauge monitors oil pressure to warn against dangerous drops in pressure. It alerts the driver to possible engine damaging conditions such as a clogged oil filter, loose oil lines, oil pump or engine bearing problems. It does not monitor engine oil level - only engine oil pressure. Pressure ratings are expressed in BARS. One BAR is equal to 14.5 PSI. Requires installation of oil pressure sensor.

Oil Temperature Gauge

Recommended for Volvos that are used for towing, carrying heavy loads or driven in high temperature climates. The instrument warns of engine overheating and possible loss of engine lubrication capability. Available in Celsius and Fahrenheit. Requires installation of a temperature sender.

Voltmeter

The voltmeter monitors the electrical system, measuring battery voltage while the engine is running. It helps to spot fluctuations that can signal battery problems, excessive electrical loading, or a voltage regulator malfunction.

Ambient Temperature Gauge - Digital

This gauge measures outside temperature just above road level, and displays it on the digital readout; when temperature nears the freezing point (approximately 34° F. 2° C), a warning light is illuminated. All gauges can be set to either Fahrenheit or Celsius prior to installation. 1993-on 900³ Series models are prewired to the bumper for the digital ambient temperature gauge.
