Remove the old rubber gasket and install the new softer gasket (p/n 3522044-1) on the fan motor.
Check motor cover mounting holes.
If the holes have bosses(arrow) as shown in the diagram, reinstall motor in the normal manner.
Note:
Do not use washers between motor and cover.
If the holes do not have bosses(arrow) as shown in the diagram, follow next step.
Put two washers (P/n 955891-7) between the motor and cover at each screw hole (3 holes) for the motor.
Reinstall the motor and other components which have been removed.
Verify reduced noise level at low fan speed.
