Turbo Pressure Delay Valve: Description and Operation

Turbo Pressure Delay Valve

A turbo pressure delay valve is installed on vehicles equipped with Garrett turbo chargers only. The valve, located Inline with hose leading from intake
manifold to by-pass valve, ensures that the by-pass valve is closed smoothly when the throttle valve is reopened. This results in better overall
driveability.
This device is a simple air delay valve, letting air through at a high rate one way, then slowing the air down on its return path.
