Slacken off the nuts on the mounting screws for the transverse arm slightly on both sides.
Adjust by moving the transverse arms in their mountings (backwards or forwards) until the correct value is achieved.
Tighten one of the screws to each transverse arm mounting so that it is secured to the other trailing arm.
Replace all the other nuts and bolts (that are not tightened) with new ones. Applies to each transverse arm mounting. Tighten the nuts. Tighten to
50 Nm
. Angle-tighten to
120° . Use protractor 951 2050 BEVEL PROTRACTOR See: Tools and Equipment/951 2050 Bevel Protractor.
Replace the two nuts and bolts previously tightened on each transverse mounting. Tighten the nuts to the same values as above.
