Preparations
Remove:
-
battery negative terminal.
-
the backrest upholstery according to Backrest upholstery See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Mechanical
Front Seats/Backrest Upholstery.
Removing the front seat SIPS airbag
Fold out and remove the protective pad on the side of the seat that contains the SIPS airbag.
Remove:
-
the two screws that hold the SIPS airbag to the inside of the backrest frame.
