C70 Coupe L5-2.3L Turbo VIN 53 B5234T3 (2001)
Thread the nipple into the steering gear (use a new O-ring).
Press up the front section of the hose into the engine compartment.
Install:
-
the clamp and bracket in the front sub-frame
-
the clamp and bracket in the rear sub-frame.
Lightly tighten all screws.
Tighten:
-
the nipple in the steering gear. Tighten to 25 Nm
-
screw in the bracket. Tighten to 24 Nm
-
screw clips. Tighten to 5 Nm .
Lower the car.
Tighten the nipple in the pump. Tighten to 25 Nm .
Note! Use a new O-ring
Remove the lock grip pliers.
Finishing
Top up the oil level in the servo reservoir. Bleed the system.
For the correct oil quality, see the specifications.
Warning! Avoid skin contact with the oil.
Repeatedly turn the steering wheel to full lock. Top up the oil if necessary.
Lower the car.
Apply the parking brake. Start the engine.

A Turn the steering wheel slowly to the right. Hold on full lock for 2 seconds

B Turn the steering wheel slowly to the left. Hold on full lock for 2 seconds.
Repeat operations A and B approximately 10 times.
