Replacing the control system
Preparation
Remove, see Replacement of control system cable harness with oil temperature sensor See: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Sensors and Switches -
A/T/Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch/Service and Repair/Replacement Of Control System Cable Harness With Oil Temperature Sensor.
Remove:
-
solenoid valve connectors
-
bolt for oil temperature sensor holder. Detach the sensor from the control system
-
cable harness from holder on control system.
Bend aside the cable harness.
Removing the control system
Remove the bolts securing the control system and remove the cover from the transmission.
