Remove the rear end of the centre console. First depress the catches on both sides using a plastic weatherstrip tool or a small screwdriver. Fold out
the upper edge of the rear end

Lift out the rear end from the mounting in the lower edge of the centre console.

Remove the two connected connectors on the inside of the rear end piece. First press the connectors down at the lower edge until the catches (1)
release. Then slide the catches upwards out from the groove

Disconnect the connectors. If there is a cable in the holder at the side, disconnect it.

Remove the cover or ashtray for the rear end (if applicable). First pry out the rear end slightly until the catches (1) release. Then press out the
cover or ashtray.
