Fold up the holder until it locks in the uppermost position

Remove the inner section of the holder by pulling downwards. At the same time hold the holder in place.

Insert the waste paper bag up through the inner section of the holder

Fold the waste paper bag over the edges of the inner section as illustrated

Press the inner section into the holder.
With bottle:

Fold up the holder until it locks in the uppermost position

Position the bottle as illustrated. The bottle is held in place by the holder and the two raised areas (1) in the carpet.
