Seat Latch Cable: Service and Repair

Cable for the opening mechanism

Removing the cable

-

Remove the opening handle according to Backrest handle See: Seat Latch/Service and Repair/Backrest Handle

Remove the upholstery according to Upholstery and backrest cushion, auxiliary rear facing seat, replacing See: Seat Cover/Service and
Repair/Rear Seat, Passenger Seat/Auxiliary Rear Facing Seat/Upholstery and Backrest Cushion, Auxiliary Rear Facing Seat, Replacing

Press the catches together. Pull out the cable mounting

Disconnect the mechanical cable from the wedge.

Installing the mechanical cable

-

Secure the mechanical cable in the wedge and press in the cable mounting

Install the upholstery according to Upholstery and backrest cushion, auxiliary rear facing seat, replacing See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Rear
Seat, Passenger Seat/Auxiliary Rear Facing Seat/Upholstery and Backrest Cushion, Auxiliary Rear Facing Seat, Replacing

Install the opening handle according to Backrest handle See: Seat Latch/Service and Repair/Backrest Handle.

Note! The lock tab must be behind the guide lug.
