the spring strut to the wheel spindle. Usenew screws and new nuts.

Adjust the spring strut and wheel spindle to the measured value. See Wheel knuckle / spring strut, calibrating See: Front Steering Knuckle/Service and
Repair/Procedures.

Note! When replacing the shock absorber, the wheel camber alignment must be adjusted. See Wheel alignment, checking / adjusting See:
Alignment/Service and Repair.

Tighten to 105 Nm. Angle-tighten 90°. Use bevel protractor 951 2050 BEVEL PROTRACTOR See: Tools and Equipment/951 2050 Bevel Protractor

the anti-roll bar link to the spring strut. Use a new nut. Tighten to 50 Nm. Counterhold with a Torx wrench to prevent damage to the boot

the ABS sensor.

Note! Ensure that the ABS sensor seat in the wheel spindle is completely clean. Clean the ABS sensor with a soft brush. Tighten the
sensor. Tighten to 10 Nm.

Removing the rear shock absorber upper bearing

Remove

the three screws holding the upper bearing for the shock absorber

the upper bearing.

Installing the rear shock absorber upper bearing

Install

the shock absorber upper bearing in reverse order. Tighten to 25 Nm
