Check the VGLA control module connector and the hood switch connector for contact resistance and oxidation, See: Diagnostic Trouble Code

Hood closed.
Read off the hood switch status.
The value should be LOW when the hood is closed.
If the value is OK the cause of the fault was loose connections in the connectors.
