Clean and degrease the surface.
Carefully remove dirt, wax, sweat and sanding water residue etc.
Silicon is removed with thinner or special silicon remover for sheet panel, galvanized sheet or aluminum.

Note! If the panel is not cleaned before applying the primer, blistering or corrosion can occur.

Sand the damaged area down to the actual metal.
