Seat Belt Tensioners, Replacing
NOTE: If the driver's air bag (SRS) and/or passenger air bag (SRS) is activated, the seat belt tensioners will also be activated if the seat belt buckles
have been pressed in. As a result, the seat belt tensioners and the seat belt buckles must be replaced.
NOTE: The seat belt tensioners can be activated by pressing down the seat belt buckles, without the driver's air bag (SRS) and/or passenger air bag
(SRS) being activated. As a result, the seat belt tensioners and the seat belt buckles must be replaced.
Removing the seat belt tensioner
Remove:
-
the front seat belt.
-
the seat belt buckle.
Installing the seat belt tensioner
Install:
-
the seat belt buckle.
-
the front seat belt.
