Preparatory work

Removing the accelerator pedal (AP)

Remove the accelerator pedal (AP). See  Accelerator pedal See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Accelerator Pedal/Service and
Repair/Accelerator Pedal.

Removal

Removing the passenger compartment air cleaner (ACL)

Fold the floor carpet out of the way.

Remove:

the 3 screws and raise the cover
