Remove the gear selector cable from the bracket on the transaxle. Use special tool 999 7077 Jimmy bar See: Tools and Equipment/999 7077 Jimmy Bar.
Do not damage the ball.
Preparations for installation
To make reinstallation easier secure a cable using tape to the end of the mechanical cable before pulling it out.
