Route the cable harness (1) (previously connected to the radio connector in point) down along the air ducts (2)

Route the thicker of the cables (3) from the handset holder and the cable harness from the radio connector under the carpet. Continue to the carpet

The thin cable (4) from the handset holder will be connected to the aerial cable routed under the carpet later.
Head restraint upholstery preparations

Remove the driver's seat head restraint. Press in the catches while pulling the head restraint up.
Does not apply to cars with leather upholstery

Remove the upholstery from the head restraint. If the zip fastener catch is missing on the zip fastener, separate the teeth at the ends of the zip
fastener. Then pull the zip fastener apart.

Turn the head restraint upholstery inside out

Mark up for holes on the right hand side of the head restraint. Mark 120mm (4 23/32 inch) upwards from the underside (1) of the side and mark
out between the two seams (2, 3).

Punch out the hole using the hole punch from the kit. Use a wooden or cork underlay

Turn the upholstery the correct way

Carefully thread the upholstery over the new head restraint with the microphone.
