Lift up the head restraint.

-

Remove the side piece according to Side piece See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat/Side Piece.

-

Remove the button for the head restraint.

-

Insert a small screwdriver and press out lock spring.

-

Detach the head restraint by pulling it straight up.

Installing the central head restraint

Install:

In reverse order.

Replacing central head restraint sleeves

Carry out  Upholstery back rest, replacing See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Rear Seat, Passenger Seat/Upholstery Back Rest, Replacing.
Insert a hand and release the sleeve interlock.
Pull the sleeve up at the same time.
Replace the sleeve.
Press down the new sleeve.
Straighten the upholstery.

Carry out  Upholstery back rest, replacing See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Rear Seat, Passenger Seat/Upholstery Back Rest, Replacing
