Remove the head restraints according to Head restraint, auxiliary rear facing seat, replacing See: Auxiliary Rear Facing Seat

Remove the backrest upholstery according to Upholstery and backrest cushion, auxiliary rear facing seat, replacing See: Seat Cover/Service and
Repair/Rear Seat, Passenger Seat/Auxiliary Rear Facing Seat/Upholstery and Backrest Cushion, Auxiliary Rear Facing Seat, Replacing

Press the catches together. Pull out the sleeve.

Installing head restraint sleeves

Install the sleeve

Install the backrest upholstery.

Replacing head restraint sleeves

Carry out  Upholstery back rest, replacing See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Front Seat/Upholstery Back Rest, Replacing.
Fold out and release the protective pad and turn the backrest adjustment and lumbar adjustment knobs.
Press out the clip in the reverse of the protective pad.

Press the catches for the sleeves.
Pull straight up.
