Removing the rubber bushings

Remove the rubber bushings from the mounting.
Note!
On S60 and V70 vehicles the bracket is welded to the catalytic converter.
Installing the rubber bushings

Install the new rubber bushings as illustrated.
Note!
The flatter side of the bushing should face the front of the car (see Arrow).
Installing bracket

Install:
-
the bracket for the sub frame using the screw and nut (2). Tighten to 50 Nm
-
the mounting (1) for the three-way catalytic converter (TWC)/exhaust system in the rubber bushings (S80 only). Tighten to 24 Nm
-
the clamp for the heated oxygen wiring.
